    Foreign Born Players from the 1980's - Christian Okoye

He won the league rushing title in 1989, he was named to two Pro Bowls, he was named the 1989 AFC Offensive Player of the Year, and the Chiefs qualified for the playoffs 3 times during Okoye's tenure. Image courtesy of http://www.celebrationflags.com

    Okoye was born in Enugu, Nigeria and did not play American style football until he joined the football team at California's Azusa Pacific University.
