Although it was only a preseason game, the Houston Texans rushing attack shined against the New Orleans Saints this past Saturday night. Former second round pick Ben Tate rushed for 95 yards on 9 carries, and last year's rushing leader Arian Foster rushed for 47 yards on 5 carries. The Texans also have 2 other runningbacks - Steve Slaton and Derrick Ward - who have rushed for over 1,000 yards in a single NFL season.
The Texans are "stacked" at runningback, and it's possible that a Houston NFL team has not had this much talent at the runningback position since the Houston Oilers had Mike Rozier, Lorenzo White and Alonzo Highsmith in the late 1980's. This could be a banner year for the Houston Texans' rushing attack!
