Image courtesy of http://3.bp.blogspot.comDuring the last two years of the 1980's and throughout the 1990's, Buffalo Bills' running back Thurman Thomas tormented defenses in the NFL. In 1988 and 1989, Thomas rushed for a combined total of over 2,000 yards and had almost 800 yards receiving. In 1989, Thomas was selected to the Pro Bowl and was named All-Pro. In the 1990's, he went on to have 7 more seasons of at least 1,000 yards rushing, and he would help lead to the Bills to 4 Super Bowl appearances.

Thomas' post-football career has been very active. In 2008, Thomas became a partial owner of the Rochester Raiders indoor football team, and he was also working to bring an indoor football team to the Buffalo, New York area. In 2010, Thomas started his own energy company - Thurman Thomas Global Energy Group. Thomas also does work as a motivational speaker.
